Yellow Cab Vancouver App Reviews

After waiting 2 days for a conformation text to open my account, all hope is lost. We need Uber immediately. Please sign the petition on Ubers website that will help move the process along. Im sick of taxis.

I was watching the taxi through the tracking option, and about 2 blocks from me (so obviously not me) I saw it switch to "in service". All I could do is watch in the tracking map as the cab drove away with someone else to parts unknown. Also, as it was in service I couldnt cancel the taxi, which meant I couldnt order a new taxi. Looks like Im calling a competitor for a ride now because Im sure not walking.

Useless app The app works however the taxis just do whatever they want. They take your "call" but if they see someone else on their way to you theyll take that person first. And they dont even send another cab for you. So theres no point to use the app if theyre not going to pick you up in the first place. Rude dispatch Some dispatch are very rude and unpleasant they should not be working anywhere customer service related. Not even worth 1star

The cab never showed up even though it said the taxi had arrived ...My wife and I stood in the rain for 20 min and we ended up walking all the way to a bus stop. This app is really a joke.

Utterly creepy experience. I used this app for the first time, the cab was 20 minutes late so i cancelled my booking and got on blacktop cab instead. Then the cab driver from yellow cab started calling me repeatedly after i had cancelled my booking. Seeing that i wasnt picking up, he sent a text saying "pickup ur phone" in those exact same words. So I decided to pick up and told him I cancelled my booking. He proceeded to lecture me about being polite and I hungup before he got another word in. Creepy experience is all that was.

The automated phone line kept hanging up on me, so I downloaded the app. The app has failed to send me a verification number and has no help feature. Without the verification number, you are unable to book a taxi.

On a weekend its impossible to get a cab either from this app or phone line. Taxi driver are rude and unreliable. They expect cash payments only and would decline your trip if you pay by credit card. This app does not gurentee arrival of the cab not their phone service. The day uber came to town will be your funeral vancouver cabs

Sometimes it shows up, sometimes it doesnt. You cant depend on this service at all, itll just say "cab booked" forever and never come, other times itll come exactly on the dot. Just meh

That was a while ago though. Really wish for the downfall of all cab companies though, cant wait for the future: Uber and similar services. I think they convinced my city to ban it for now (Vancouver). As such, Im here to do my part to bring the demise of this and other shitty cab companies that havent adapted with the times.

I was late to a dinner reservation because my cab never showed up. No number visible I could call to ask where cab was, and company did not call me to say the cab was late / not coming. Very disappointing!

I needed to book a cab to the airport and the app worked exceptionally well! My driver arrived just a bit before my pick up time and got me to the airport extremely quickly! I will definitely be using this app again!

This doesnt work for international visitors because the confirmation code wont send to international numbers.
